Token sale scam (rugpull)

Token sale scam or more commonly known as "rugpull" type of a crypto scam where a victim is tricked into buying a malicious token that is coded in a way that one is not able to sell it after the purchase.

Usually a scammer announces a new token/protocol launch on reddit/4chan/telegram group and directs victims to Uniswap or its equivalent for a token purchase.

Rugpull might also refer to various other less direct ways of protocol users/token buyers being exploited or scammed by the developers of a said protocol/token.
