The Cronos Chain is an EVM-compatible chain and was launched in November 2021. Powered by Ethermint, Cronos allows rapid porting of apps and smart contracts from Ethereum and EVM-compatible chains.[1] The cronos chain was created using the Cosmos SDK and is part of the Cosmos ecosystem.
