Polkadot is a protocol that connects blockchains, allowing data to be sent across previously incompatible networks (eg. Bitcoin and Ethereum). It’s also designed to be fast and scalable.

DOT Token

Polkadot's token is called $DOT, this token is used for staking and for governance over the Polkadot protocol.
