There are plenty of scams in the free land of crypto and most of them involve some kind of social engineering. In most cases attacker tries to create a sense of urgency, so the victim acts fast without time to think and rationally access the situation.

Best way to avoid any kind of scam is to remember that if something is too good to be true its most likely a scam.
